What:
U.S.-based high tech company marketing plans increasingly call for aggressive expansion in Asia Pacific. But marketing and audience development in this region is a new ballgame for many firms, especially when it comes to China and Korea. And those already active there are constantly seeking ways to improve their success and productivity. With stakes this high, companies can't afford not to enter the APAC market - or make missteps once there.

Speakers included:

Fran Harrison, Fairchild Semiconductor: The top global media and government relations executive for the $1.6 billion semi industry leader since 1996, a timeframe during which acquisitions, partnerships and internal growth have earned the company the #1 APAC market share in its sector.

Dr. Gordon Wong and Claire Walker, Techworks Asia Ltd: Founder/Media Director and PR Director respectively with one of APAC's most respected high tech PR and marketing communications consultancies, known for assisting companies in establishing brand awareness and media coverage in business, technical and local media outlets while navigating the often-vexing cultural, political and business dynamics.

Harald Horgen, The York Group: President of a worldwide organization with a track record of success in helping dozens of firms build sales and distribution channels throughout APAC by implementing focused strategies that recognize local market conditions and product differences.

When:
Tuesday, June 7, 2005
