Wanderlust in the Land of Luck

I recently returned to reality from an eight day trip spent traipsing around Ireland with a close friend and several newly-made ones. In that short period I visited Dublin, Belfast, Derry, Galway, Cork, Kilkenny and many sites (and sights) in between. As the story goes for most when traveling, once you get a taste you only want more. It didn’t take long for me before wanderlust set in. For 25 years old I’ve done my fair share of traveling: Italy, England, Spain, Portugal and now Ireland. Yet there’s still so much world left to see! Being a (semi) grown adult with grown up responsibilities I know patience is a virtue and satisfying my wanderlust will happen in pieces, over time. But while I’m waiting to plan my next adventure I have plenty of amazing memories from Ireland to enjoy. From rolling hills, dramatic cliffs and medieval castles, to charming pubs, the occasional jig, many pints of Guinness and tumblers of Jameson, and tales from the elder Irish folk—it was a trip I’ll never forget. Here are some of the memories I brought home to share with you.
